How long does it take to build my website?


Each website design varies, but generally we estimate 2-4 weeks on average. The quicker you can get back to us with your page content (verbiage), photos and images as well as specific details, the faster we can complete your site! We've completed website projects in as little as 7-10 days! The time it takes really depends a great deal on you!




What if I’m not sure what package to choose?


Please contact us. We’re happy to discuss your needs and help you pick the right package. If our monthly pay packages don't seem to fit your needs, we are happy to modify and customize a package just for you! And if you'd rather pay for your website in the traditional way, we can provide you with a quote. Give us a call! 941-220-9722




Are there upfront costs?


The upfront cost is listed for each package as the One Time Set Up Fee. This fee helps to cover your hosting and the initial consultation. Traditional Pay options will have the terms listed in your quote. We pride ourselves in being completely transparent in all aspects of your project, including pricing and costs.




Do I have to sign a contract?


For our Traditional Pricing Plan, No contract is required. If you choose a Monthly Pay Plan, then Yes, we do require a contract to be signed. We ask you to commit to an 18 month agreement. This agreement allows us to recoup the costs involved to create and design your website and includes your Hosting for 18 months. Our monthly pay plans allow you to keep your cash flowing, instead of having a large upfront lump sum required to create a custom-crafted website specific to your business and needs.




Is the pricing really packaged with “no surprises”?


Yes. Our custom crafted site design services are not based on the time spent, so even if it takes longer to reach a site design, you’re covered. The package plan details clearly spell out items that are included. If you should need add-ons such as photography, domain registration or transfer, email assistance, third-party integrations or additional pages, we will give you the cost upfront before implementing them. And the best feature of our custom-crafted sites, is that you can always add on to them, whether it's more pages, customer reviews or an e-commerce store.....we can do just about anything you dream up! Of course we'll always go over the pricing of these add-ons, and wait for the 'go-ahead' from you!




How do I contact you to make changes to my site?


Contact us at any time through email or phone and we will get back to you, promptly!




How long does it take to get online?


Once you have approved our design and all content and changes have been completed and approved, we are ready to go "Live!" In general, the process to go "Live" can take 2-3 days, but most often our websites go "Live" the same day you give us the "go ahead! "




What if I need additional features and updates to my site. How can I get these added?


Our free revisions stop once the website is "Live". Based on your package selection beyond the Start Up Plan, you will receive 15-60 minutes of work each month. If your changes are beyond the scope of your package, we will let you know BEFORE we start the work- from there, if you do decide to continue with the changes, we will send you an invoice for the work done. Our hourly charge is $85 per hour, billing in 30 minute increments.




How will we work together?


We will meet with you in person or by telephone to discuss your needs, vision and desires for your website. We like to keep the lines of communication open, whether by telephone, texting or emails. This process has worked well for us over the years, because it keeps the project flowing. Communication with our customers is one of our top priorities! We want you to be completely satisfied with all levels of your experience from beginning to end and open communication is the way to achieve this!




What information do you need to get started?


We will discuss these details with you during our first telephone consultation. We’ll get to the heart of your business, brand, design and company culture, as well as the core message your website should convey to visitors . Then, we’ll create a plan to guide you through the information gathering process. If you prefer, we can also develop the content for you for an additional charge.




I don’t know anything about website design. Is that a problem?


Not at all. We understand the process and technology and will do our best to explain it in everyday language. You don’t need to understand how the internet works to have a beautiful custom website.

Yes. We love creating logos and promotional materials. And since we have a Graphic Designer on our team with 25+ years experience, we can create your vision. If you're stuck on ideas for your logo - no worries, we love getting creative, it's what we do! (See Logo Designs Portfolio)




If I'm not located in Sarasota, can Halo Creatives still design my site?


Yes, absolutely! We work virtually, so you can be almost anywhere. We’re also able to accommodate your time zone when we schedule conferences. We have designed websites all over the United States, with the technology available today, this is done easily.




What happens at the end of my 18 month agreement?


If you decide you'd like to continue with your website and Halo Creatives maintaining it, your agreement will roll into a month to month plan at the same rate. Should you decide you'd like to take over control of your website and maintain it yourself, after the initial 18 month period is complete, we are happy to transfer your website to a new account for you that you will have ownership and complete control of. We charge a $250 transfer fee to make this change. And should you still need us to make changes for you from time to time, we can most definitely help out! Our rate is $85 per hour, billing in 30 minute increments.




I need help with my domain name and email....Can you handle this too?


Yes, with over a decade of working with various businesses under our belt, we've helped many businesses change or transfer their email, as well as their domain name! We understand some of these tasks are daunting and overwhelmingly technical, but chances are we've had situations like yours come up countless times before, so we can handle it. And of course, any services we provide that go above the normal scope of making a site 'live' we will provide the pricing upfront prior to doing the work.
